About Us.....

Welcome to The Apostolics of Mountain View, which seeks to serve as The Beacon In The Night for all people by providing you

with ways to enrich your life and your faith by extending a light to you and your family to reach the light of God.

Introduction:

It is the desire of the Apostolic Oneness Lighthouse that all men and women should come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and

walk in his light. We believe that once one has come to know the Lord, in all its truth, then one must work out their own salvation with

fear and trembling. You may lead a horse to the water, but you can not make it drink. We can not, nor can no one else force salvation

on another. With this in mind, we desire to create a place of worship to all that come into this house. The following is intended to be informative and give some insight to those wishing to join us during our service times.

The Apostolic Doctrine:

We believe to be Apostolic, means to be like the Apostles. Therefore, our doctrine or church teaching is, to the best of our

understanding, the same as taught by the Apostles.

Apostolic Plan of Salvation, “NEW BIRTH”:

The basic and fundamental doctrine shall be the Bible standard of full salvation, which is repentance, baptism in water by immersion

n the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with other tongues

as the Spirit gives the utterance (Acts 2:4,38; John 3:5).

Holy Living:

After one has received the “NEW BIRTH”, A person should consider to live a godly and holy life style from that day forward, a life

to be characterize as the signs and example found in I Peter 2:21; Titus 2:11; Galatians 2:20; Hebrews 12:14; I Peter 1:15-17. Cleansing ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God, II Corinthians 7:1; to abstain from all appearance

of evil found in I Thessalonians 5:22 and to turn away from those who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof II Timothy 3:5; I Corinthians 11:6; I Timothy 2:9,10; I Peter 2:3,4.

Praise, Worship, and the Word:

We believe in worshipping and praising God with all our heart, soul, mind, and body. We pray aloud (Acts 4:24) and lift our hands in

praise (Psalms 134:2). When we praise we make a joyful noise with our voice in song and upon a variety of musical instruments.

(Psalm 98:4 , 2 Samuel 6:5). We dance in the spirit, clap our hands, and often leap for joy. (Psalm 150:4) We anoint with oil for divine

healing (James 5:14) and believe in allowing the gifts of the spirit to operate under the direction of the Holy Spirit (Corinthians 14:26).

We believe it is imperative that the man of God be given a time to preach from the word of the Lord in each and every service. "How then

shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?” and “How shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?” and “How

shall they hear without a preacher?”(Rom 10:14)

Tithing:

Tithing has been a principal of giving of what you have and has been since the days of Abraham. Tithing came with faith under

Abraham, Moses' law enforced it; Israel practiced it when she was right with God. Paul said, it like this in I Corithians 16:2, Upon

the first day of the week let every one of you layby him in store, as God hath prospered him,...Tithing has and is a way to help support

the work of GOD and the ministers of GOD; giving of ones finances allows the work of GOD to be done. Giving has always been an act

of your sacrifice to GOD. Without that it is hard for one man to do it all.
